Chinese President Xi Jinping wants to strengthen ties with countries in Southeast Asia. He made the comments at a speech at Indonesian parliament where, for the first time ever, a foreign leader gave a public speech.

It is part of a three-day trip to Indonesia, Southeast Asia's biggest economy.
