Tensions rise in Greek following arrests of far-right Golden Dawn party members

Greek riot police stand guard outside police headquarters in Athens as hundreds of supporters of the the far-right party Golden Dawn gather across the street.

Chanting "Blood, Honor, Golden Dawn," protesters showed up after getting word police arrested the party leader and more than a dozen of its senior members and lawmakers.

The Greek government has launched an investigation into the party for possible connections into the killing of an anti-fascist rapper by a self-proclaimed Golden Dawn supporter.

SOUNDBITE: GOLDEN DAWN LAWMAKER ARTEMIS MATHAIOPOULOS, SAYING:

"We are a political movement that has nothing to do with a crime organization or something like that."

The party denies any links to the killing.

The Greek justice minister says those arrested will get a fair trial.
