The death toll from a massive earthquake in a remote region of Pakistan continues to rise Friday as survivors bury their loved ones.

Most of the residents living in mud houses of this village are now homeless -- several have lost family members with at least 356 reported dead.

Medical teams are struggling to reach all the victims in the sparsely populated province.

Doctors in field hospitals set up by the army say they are concerned about infection.

A lot of children have chect infections, this doctor says. Many of the injuries are internal.

Initial estimates say more than 300,000 people have been affected by the quake with tens of thousands of families left homeless.
