Washington Navy Yard shooter believed he was controlled by radio waves: FBI

Washington Navy Yard shooter Aaron Alexis enters a building, runs down a stairwell, and peers around corners with shotgun in hand, in surveillance video released by the FBI.
Alexis killed 12 people in a shooting rampage at the base in southeast Washington, D.C. on September 16th.
The 34-year-old believed he was being controlled by extremely low frequency radio waves in the months before the shooting, says FBI Assistant Director in Charge of the Washington Field Office Valerie Parlave.
(SOUNDBITE) (ENGLISH) VALERIE PARLAVE, FBI ASSISTANT DIRECTOR IN CHARGE OF THE WASHINGTON FIELD OFFICE, SAYING:
"There are multiple indicators that Alexis held a delusional belief that he was being controlled or influenced by extremely low frequency of ELF electromagnetic waves...A document retrieved from the electronic media states "ultra low frequency attack is what I've been subject to for the last three months and to be perfectly honest, that is what has driven me to this."
