A video montage I created this summer about the autumn season which is my favorite season. Laura Fygi's voice was what moved me to start working on this project. I truly enjoyed searching for video footage on YouTube to create this film. I wanted to create a sort of story not just show beautiful fall nature scenes. During my search, I was lucky to stumble on a perfume commercial by Kenzo with a woman at the beach which for me fitted perfectly with what I wanted to do here. Enjoy! Here is a beautiful poem that touched me very much:
FEELINGS by Jeffrey white who is a friend of mine on Google+
I don't have the words to describe my feelings. A woman, the last thing I think of before falling asleep. A woman, the first thing I think of when I wake. A woman, the image that passes before my mind's eye in a moment of clarity. A woman, the hands we hold, the one thing I miss most. A woman, the laughter that warms my heart and soul. A woman, the perfume that invokes wonderful memories. A woman, the love, the love, the embrace, the joy, the wonderful joy.
French lyrics by Jacques Prévert English lyrics by Johnny Mercer Music by Joseph Kosma
The falling leaves drift by the window The autumn leaves of red and gold I see your lips, the summer kisses The sun-burned hands I used to hold
Since you went away the days grow long And soon I'll hear old winter's song But I miss you most of all my darling When autumn leaves start to fall
