Tv9 Gujarat - World's first bariatric surgery performed on 4 years old boy ,Ahmedabad

A 4 year old boy from Kolkata has become the youngest in the world to have undergone bariatric surgery as claimed by his doctors. Rishi Khatau was morbidly obese and weighed 44.5 kgs before the surgery. Rishi's obesity had slowed him down and it also posed him a serious health threat due to sleep apnoea and breathing problems. The situation turned severe as no medication worked and the family opted for surgery. Doctors claims that in just six months Rishi will be normal.
