Barcelona to earn 96 million from Qatar Airways sponsorship deal

Barcelona, Aug 27 (EFE).- F.C. Barcelona will earn 96 million euros for their three-year sponsorship deal with Qatar Airlines. The Middle Eastern company would also throw in a five million euro bonus if the team manages to win the Champions League.
The club's economic vice-president, Javier Faus, unveiled the contract's details that could bring Barça benefits of up to 30,5 million euros this season, 32 million next season and 33,5 million for the 2015-2016 season.
The deal places Qatar Airways' logo on the club's jersey as well as the Camp Nou stands. Barcelona have also created a section dedicated to the company in the club's museum.
