For those who regularly ship through the USPS or even UPS, this little machine will save you time and money. It holds large rolls of labels and requires NO ink. There are no ink refill costs. With very few moving parts, there are less opportunities for malfunction or breakage. Used and refurbished units are generally a safe buy.
Our online store switched from using DYMO label printers after our DYMO setup kept messing up and wasting label after label. We were lucky to print 100 labels and not lose 18 - 20 due to printing errors by the printer, such as misfeeds and overfeeds.
We purchased the Zebra and setup took all of about 3 minutes. Just plugged it in and it was ready to go. (Windows 7). It took longer to get the labels in the printer than it did to set the printer up.
After the setup, we printed a ton of labels with no errors. We've done over 1000 labels now and never had a misfeed or wasted label.
The Zebra looks like a printer from the 90', there are not fancy extras, there is no fancy feature for someone to blog about, but it is dependable, it gets the job done perfectly and it never fails. Labels print in about 3 seconds or less. If labels run out, it waits for new labels to be installed and then continues printing.
The printer is silent, but the noise level is about equal to any other printer feeding paper. Nothing disruptive about the sound it makes.
It works perfect with Amazon for Amazon sellers.
