Celebrities are just like us, you know, when you peel away the good looks and the talent and the entourage and the clothes and the fake nails and hair. They laugh like us. They cry like us. They lazily lob Simon Cowell baby congratulations via Twitter like us.
That's what Alexandra Burke did, anyway. The X Factor fashionista chatted to us at V Festival, and told us all things Cowell -- including how she reacted to his kind-of-shocking-actually-,-if-you-sit-and-think-about-it baby news.
"I wasn't shocked," she said. "I think he'll be a stern father. He's going to make a great dad. And I sent my love via Twitter! It's now become more powerful than a phonecall or email. Unfortunately that is our day and age. But Twitter is very powerful." Indeed it is, Alexandra Burke. Indeed it is.
(We didn't just talk all things Cowell -- we also had a natter about festival essentials, crisps and chocolate and the fact that it is her actual 25th birthday next week.)
