Not all crooks are after money. The family who runs the New Delhi Tandoori Restaurant in Sunshine Australia is left baffled after realizing thieves had broken into the establishment.

Instead of finding broken dishes, smashed windows and an utter mess, the family was stunned to find that virtually no damage had been done, at least not in the physical sense. The break-in was only discovered after a delivery driver found the doors of the restaurant open on August 9th.

It’s currently believed the thieves gained entry through the roof and once inside the restaurant, they drank plenty of beer, specifically, all of the Coronas were gone. They also took out some cutlery and glasses from the dining room and settled down for what the family thinks was a three course, healthy meal, complete with sauces and vegetables.

It appeared that the intruders cooked up a large pot of prawns. One of the family members who runs the business stated “They definitely made themselves very comfortable. They didn't damage anything, which makes me happy.”

Aside from the consumed food and beers, the restaurant did encounter a slight theft; the crooks reportedly swiped three menus before departing. Police are currently investigating the break-in.
