Hrithik melts nation with eyes, Kareena is a powerful performer.
Bollywood stars Hritik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor both are re-unified as protagonist in Karan MALHOTRA’S FILM SHUDDHI produced by Karan Johar for Dharma Productions. Producer Karan Johar spoke to both stars and they had given their nods to work together in love story SHUDDHI based upon reincarnation subject.
Karan Johar says, “I’ m excited to see Hritik and Kareena back after 12 years.” Hritik alias Duggu and Kareena alias Bebo were last seen together in 2001, in Subhash Ghai’s YAADEIN and later in super-duper hit film KABHI KHUSHI KABHI GHAM directed by Karan Johar. But after that, they both kept acting in different films separately. Karan johar’s director Karan Malhotra will direct this film SHUDDHI.
Karan Johar enthuses, “When Karan (Malhotra) came to me with SHUDDHI, his desire was to cast Hritik Roshan and Kareena. I spoke to both of them and they were happy to be on board. The film is an intense love story and because it has a reincarnation theme, he has written a script that is dramatic and outstanding. Also, such a theme requires intensity. To me, it is really an important casting. But I do not look at it as a coup. Kareena is beautiful, talented and a powerful performer. And Hritik, well, what can I say ? He can melt nation just with his eyes.”. Wow !!!!!!!!!!
