Rough Cut Film takes a look at JJ Abrams second Star Trek Film that to represents an attempt to modernise the Franchise while at the same time nodding it's cap to it's roots - does it succeed? Does it fail? Is there any milage left in Kirk's old girdle? Why did the crew of the Enterprise get camper and sillier as they got older? All these questions and more aren't answered in this review.
