Taliban claims responsibility for Kabul attack

Suicide bombers attack a supply base outside kabul Tuesday, killing at least six people and blowing out a section of the compound's wall.

Foreign companies use the base to supply NATO forces.

Officials say one of the bombers drove into the center's vehicle bay before detonating the explosives.

The Taliban is claiming responsibility for the attack which killed four Nepalese guards and two truck drivers.

As many as five other drivers who were sleeping in their trucks were wounded in the attack.

(SOUNDBITE) (Dari) WOUNDED TRUCK DRIVER, MOHAMMAD ESSAQ SAYING:

"I was asleep, then suddenly an explosion happened, when I woke up I found myself injured."

Afghan and NATO forces quickly arrived at the scene and recovered several vests packed with explosives.

Officials say three other attackers died in a firefight following the blast.
