Pete Pattisson reported: The Rohingyas are trapped, unprotected and feeling unsecured on their own homeland. A Rohingya man said, Nasaka, (the border security forces) arrived and called all the villagers gather to middle of the village. Then they (the Nasaka) said this is not your country. This is Rakhine's land. In Rkhine's land you cannot go outside the village. We can't take any action against them, if they beat to you, even killing. The Myanmar government denies them citizenship, arguing they are relatively recent migrants from the Indian sub-continent. The United Nations also describes the Rohingyas as one of the world's most persecuted minority group.
