About 8,000 people participated in a pro-Erdogan demonstration in the Austrian capital Vienna. Elsewhere, near Vienna's state opera house, several hundred demonstrators took part in a separate, smaller protest against the recent crackdown on anti-government demonstrations in Turkey.
