U.N. chief urges North-South Korea dialogue

Chinese Premier Li Keqiang met with United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon in Beijing on Thursday.
The two leaders shook hands before sitting down for a formal meeting at the Diaoyutai State Guest House.
Ban already held talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping on Wednesday.
Ban also praised China's role in reducing tension on the Korean peninsula during a group interview with Chinese reporters in Beijing on Wednesday.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) UNITED NATIONS SECRETARY GENERAL BAN KI-MOON, SAYING:
"Any meaningful dialogue should be anchored in the verifiable denuclearisation of the Korean Peninsula. This is the foundation and basis of dialogue between South and North. There needs to be meaningful and trustful dialogue."
