The beta bulbs are shipping soon and wider distribution is expected to follow quickly.
Its availability is due in large part to its phenomenally successful Kickstarter campaign.
The campaign was launched in September 2012 and the developers were looking for a hundred thousand dollars.
They wound up with over 1.3 million.
