Sandra Bullock screens comedy "The Heat" in London

STORY: Sandra Bullock took to the red carpet in London for a gala screening of her new comedy "The Heat." The buddy-cop film, co-starring "Bridesmaids" breakout Melissa McCarthy, follows uptight FBI special agent Sarah Ashburn (Bullock) and testy Boston cop Shannon Mullins (McCarthy) as they try and take down a ruthless drug lord.
Bullock told Reuters on the red carpet that she had been looking for a comedic project.
"The Heat" opens in the U.S. on June 28 and July 31 in the U.K.
