Monsoon rains kill at least 27 in Sri Lanka

Strong winds and heavy monsoon rains across Sri Lanka's coastal areas have left 27 dead, while another 29 fishermen are still missing. A navy search is underway for more than 32 boats. One other victim died after being crushed by a tree. A bad weather warning had been issued by the meteorology department .
