Violence occurs in Turkey as police and protesters continue to clash. Police have been seen using water cannons and tear gas against the protesters. The latest violence broke out today as anti-government protesters filled a park that’s planned to be turned into a shopping mall. ABC News reports that people have been upset about the country’s stance on Syria and recent tightening of restrictions on alcohol sales and public displays of affection.
