Freight trains collide in US

Two trains collided in rural Missouri Saturday triggering the collapse of a highway overpass, but luckily no one was killed.

Officials say one of the trains, from Union-Pacific, was carrying auto parts from Illinois to Texas. The other train, from Burlington Northern, was carrying scrap metal.

12 rail cars went off the tracks after the trains hit each other... those rail cars then hit a portion of a highway overpass causing it to collapse.

Seven people were hurt in the incident, but none suffered life-threatening injuries officials said.
