Nasrallah says Hezbollah will bring victory in Syrian conflict

Hezbollah leader Nasrallah says that the group's fighters are in Syria alongside President Assad's forces and says they will fight until they win. Deborah Lutterbeck reports.

A Hezbollah rally is held in the Lebanon against the backdrop of tensions in part stemming from the civil war in Syria.

On Saturday for the first time Hezbollah leader HASSAN NASRALLAH confirms that his forces have been fighting in Syria alongside the forces of President Bashar al-Assad.

He vows to fight until the finish.

(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) HEZBOLLAH LEADER HASSAN NASRALLAH SAYING:

''We are going to continue down this road and we are going to take responsibility. And we accept all the sacrifices and consequences that come with this responsibility. And I tell you like I told you before during the July 2006 war, I promised you victory then and I promise you victory now, you mujahideen, you heroes.''
