In 2020, as millions of citizens around the world marched through the streets to protest the prolonged history of systemic racism impacting African Americans, David Wadley and Jason Horns discussed the possibility of working together on a thought-provoking project that would speak to current events. Soon thereafter, Jason and his younger brother, Jesse Horns, (better known as Tha J-Squad), unleashed an expertly crafted remix of Wadley’s “Batman Theme,” which includes samples from interviews of both Wadley and Eartha (Catwoman) Kitt, commenting on the status of race relations in America.

The recording was mastered by multiple Grammy Award winner Peter Doell, Chief Mastering Engineer at Aftermaster Audio Labs in Hollywood, CA, who has previously collaborated with Frank Sinatra, Miles Davis, Elton John, Kurupt, and many other legendary music artists. Wadley, who also produced and edited the official music video for the song, isolates one segment to include images of the nation's capital, the White House, and the Supreme Court, encouraging citizens to stay updated on current affairs related to all three branches of the U.S. federal government and exercise their constitutional right to vote.
